Now you might be wondering why I'd post such drastically different examples. Seems like the Authority Site Center example would be embarassing compared to Friday Traffic Report. Well, with just those meager stats, Authority Site Center nets over $40,000.00 per month and that's after all staff has been paid and we have 10 employees, a bunch of servers, and other overhead that comes out first.

How is that possible? Authority. When someone types in "authority site" in Google's toolbar, the term "authority site center" is a recommended search for which we, of course, are #1. We show up #5 in the regular listings, but we also show up in Suggested Searches. Meaning we are better than #1. Google sees us as an authority. Enough to make us a recomended site at the top of the listings.
For full disclosure, we also have an affiliate program, so far more links point to ASC than indicated at Google Webmaster Tools but Google doesn't count affiliate links going through a shopping cart system. Affiliate programs are a Power Linking tactic and we cover that inside as well.
